This is beneficial for pains aches and weight loss and has a firmer pressure. Goal is to relieve muscle tension, improve blood circulation and trigger the lymphatic elimination system in the body and tone the body up.

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia. It is suggested that you first start with Swedish to loosen the muscles and then go for deep tissue.

Balinese massage is an approach developed in the Indonesian province of Bali, with influence from the traditional medicine systems of India, China, and Southeast Asia. Techniques include acupressure, skin rolling and flicking, firm and gentle stroking, percussion, and application of essential oils to stimulate the lymphatic system and the flow of blood and qi.

Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions. The recipient remains clothed during treatment. Rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. The receiver will be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions combined with deep static and rhythmic pressures.
